Who We Are
A3 Academy ("A3," "we," "us") operates baseball training academies in Tampa and Jacksonville, Florida, and the A3 family portal at portal.a3academy.org. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information about enrolled families, players, and prospective members. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during enrollment and through your use of our programs and portal, including: parent/guardian names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses; player names, dates of birth, team and group assignments; academic, athletic development, attendance, and training records; photos and videos captured during training; and payment-related information processed through our payment providers.
How We Use Information
We use this information to operate our academy programs: managing rosters and schedules, communicating with families, tracking player development, providing academic support, coordinating transportation, and administering accounts. We do not sell personal information.
SMS / Text Message Communications
With your consent as an enrolled family, A3 Academy sends transactional text messages related to your account and your player's participation, including schedule notifications, schedule changes, and team announcements. Message frequency varies based on academy activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for assistance or contact matt@a3trojans.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment. You can also manage notification preferences, including turning texts off, in your portal account settings.
No mobile opt-in data, phone numbers, or SMS consent information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (such as messaging delivery, cloud hosting, and payment processing), and only as needed to provide those services; with schools, leagues, or organizations as required for player participation, with your knowledge; and when required by law.
Children's Information
Our players are minors. Player information is provided by and accessible to that player's parent or guardian through their portal account. We restrict access to player records to the child's own family and authorized A3 staff. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 online without parental involvement.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections, access controls, and campus- and family-scoped data permissions. Player media and records are accessible only to authenticated, authorized users.
Your Choices
You may review or update your contact information and notification preferences in your portal account, or contact us to correct or request deletion of your family's information, subject to records we must retain.
Changes
We may update this policy; the current version will always be posted at this page with its effective date.
